Dr Mairead McCormack
Dr Mairead Mc Cormack - Vice Chairperson
Mairead has been a researcher of parental alienation since 2010, both at Queen’s University of Belfast and at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she attended as a Santander Scholar. Her Doctorate was “Parental Alienation. An Exploratory Study of Legal Professionals' Views and Experiences in Northern Ireland”.
Helen Walsh
Helen Walsh BA (Hons), FCA - Treasurer
Helen has been with LDVP in the role of Treasurer since 2019. Helen is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the social housing and health sectors. Helen is currently employed as a Senior Accountant at the Western Health and Social Care Trust where she is the financial management lead for the Acute Directorate.
Brendan Guildea
Brendan Guildea LL.B, LL.M, B.L. - Board Member
Brendan was called to the Irish Bar in 2011 and the Bar of Northern Ireland in 2022. As a barrister he has developed specialism in high conflict family law matters. In 2022 he taught a module on report writing on the inaugural year of the world's first Postgraduate Certificate in Parental Alienation Studies run by Malta's Institute of Family Therapy and has various published works, which can be viewed at Academia.edu and ParentalAlienation.eu
Antoinette Kennedy
Antoinette Kennedy - Board Member
Antoinette is currently employed with the Western Trust as the lead Nurse Specialist for the Acute Pain Service, managing both inpatient and outpatient acute and chronic pain services. Antoinette holds a BSc in Combined Social and Behavioral Sciences, Higher National Diploma in Adult Nursing Studies, Foundation in Medical Acupuncture, Post Graduate Certificate in Pain Science and Practice and Post Graduate Certificate in Non Medical Prescribing.
Joseph Bradley
Joseph Bradley MBACP - Board Member
Joseph Bradley of The Grove Counselling as a returning Boar of Director with La Dolce Vita Project. Joseph has previously volunteered at LDVP as a Counsellor. Joseph is an integrative therapist registered with BACP with experience of working with those who have experienced trauma, affected by domestic abuse or family separation complexities. Joseph considers La Dolce Vita Project to be a vital service and is proud to support the charities work.
Alan Blotcky
Alan Blotcky Ph.D - Board Member
Alan D Blotcky, PhD, is a clinical and forensic psychologist in private practice in Birmingham, Alabama. Alan is also Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. Alan is actively involved in cases of parental alienation. He has been court-appointed or retained in cases in 10 states and in Canada. Alan has a vast number of publications in the areas of false allegations of abuse, parental alienation, and divorce.
Louise Mc Gill
Louise Mc Gill - Board Member
Louise having previously been employed with retail company Next, Louise was an active team coach staff member who helped with the induction of new staff employees. Louise took a career change and is now currently working within the care sector as a domiciliary carer. Registered with the NISCC. Louise is an active board member with La Dolce Vita Project since 2017. Trained in safeguarding of adults children and young people. Experience of working with children within the fitness industry, having gained certificates in judging and refereeing in martial arts kickboxing.
Tina McLoone
Tina McLoone BA (Hons.) - Charity Secretary
Tina has worked for an established Dublin-based disability organisation since Nov 2003 where she has led staff teams in the delivery of meaningful, person-centred programmes for adults with additional needs. Tina joined the organisation’s Quality Team in Nov 2021 in the capacity of Quality Assurance Officer. Integral aspects of Tina's role include identifying shortfalls in service quality, identifying areas of regulation non-compliance, and drafting action plans for improvement. Tina has been a Designated Safeguarding Officer, and a member of the organisation’s Safeguarding Committee since Sept 2017. Tina is a member of the organisation’s Human-Rights and Restrictive Practice Committee since Feb 2023.
